They are seeking a thoughtful and self-directed Product Designer to lead user experience design efforts for their SaraWorks team, collaborating closely with product and engineering to create intuitive interfaces and a scalable design system.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design process for key features and workflows, from discovery to delivery
Work closely with product and engineering to translate user needs and business goals into simple, intuitive interfaces
Conduct research and user testing to inform design decisions
Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, and occasionally product copy
Contribute to and help establish a scalable, reusable design system
Set design best practices and help us build a strong design culture from the ground up
Advocate for the user in strategic product conversations

Qualification

Required

2–4 years of experience designing digital products (preferably SaaS or web applications)
Proficiency in Figma, including designing, prototyping, and working with shared libraries or design systems
Demonstrated ability to own and drive projects independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to give and receive feedback, clearly explain design rationale, and collaborate effectively
Comfort navigating complex workflows and translating them into simple, intuitive user experiences
A portfolio that highlights strong UX thinking, clean visual design, and real-world impact
Enthusiasm for building scalable systems and reusable patterns—not just polished screens
Eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a federal background check

Preferred

Experience designing for accessibility and a strong understanding of inclusive design principles
Experience working on a small team or in a startup environment
Familiarity with healthtech, govtech, edtech, or other mission-driven domains
