IBM is an IT technology and consulting firm providing computer hardware, software, infrastructure, and hosting services. They are seeking an Application Developer to provide DevSecOps support, focusing on the development and modernization of large-scale IT systems in the cloud while mentoring the team on best practices.
Provide development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) support assigned client with a focus on development, operations, and modernization of complex, large-scale IT systems in the cloud.
Work with orchestration tools, and/or Kubernetes, pods, clusters, and container networking principles.
Mentor team on standard best practices around CI/CD and enforce quality gates via pipeline design.
Work on Linux including shell scripting, networking, storage and release management.
Deliver high quality CI/CD automation and cloud infrastructure services as part of a scrum team creating and maintaining mission-critical applications.
Work side by side with developers, product managers, designers, and customers and make decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.
Design, develop and operationalize new processes such as on demand environment provisioning.
Support the team on standard best practices around CI/CD and enforce quality gates via pipeline design.
Adhere to security regulations by delivering security architecture, artifacts, and reviewing scan results as needed.
Utilize: Automation Tools (Jenkins and Ansible), Java (Spring Boot and Microservices), UI (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular), Version Control Systems (GitHub and SVN), Cloud Technologies (Red hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GSA FCS, PCF), Database (SQL, MongoDB), Monitoring Tools (Splunk and SolarWinds).
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering or related
two (2) years of experience as an Application Developer or related
Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Automation Tools (Jenkins and Ansible)
Java (Spring Boot and Microservices)
UI (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular)
Version Control Systems (GitHub and SVN)
