Responsibilities

Research trends and topics in English vocabulary and grammar to provide a global audience with accurate, useful information
Write engaging, informative web articles for Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com, and Vocabulary.com
Adhere to The Chicago Manual of Style and our in-house style guides
Accept and implement feedback from in-house editors

Qualification

Required

BA/BS degree, preferably in English, creative writing, or a related field
Exceptional writing skills, including a finely tuned sense of English grammar and usage
Strong critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
Previous professional writing experience
Consistent ability to meet deadlines
