CSG is a leader in innovative customer engagement, revenue management and payments solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Associate to identify strategic relationships, drive pipeline growth, and assist in developing new business opportunities.
Identify and help to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.
Partner with sales and marketing teams to implement effective outbound campaigns and align with industry go-to-market strategies.
Drive pipeline growth by following up on inbound campaigns and leads.
Conduct market research for existing and prospective clients.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and calls through cold outreach between customers Sales Directors.
Assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
Leverage phone/email for prospecting with key metrics around setting qualified first sales interactions and next step calls leading to proposals/pipeline.
Collaboratively solve deal-level challenges to increase overall revenue and sales bookings.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, technology, related field, or equivalent experience
1+ years of sales experience selling or equivalent experience
Gain in-depth knowledge of CSG's CX technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, industry trends, and more
Enthusiasm and energy around solving client and end customer challenges, and a desire to leave things better than you found them
Understand and fulfil weekly, monthly and quarterly key performance metrics
Preferred
A proven ability to generate sales opportunities and build pipeline that drives revenue growth.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team mindset.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
A goal-oriented, driven approach—able to achieve individual targets while contributing to team success.
Experience with cold outreach across multiple channels, including phone, email, social media, and mailer campaigns. This includes skills in account planning, pre-call preparation, opportunity qualification, and objection handling.
Familiarity with Salesforce, outreach tools, and cold calling.
