Risk Analyst II - IT/Cyber - Testing & Monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Perform Independent Risk Management testing for key IT/IS controls which includes accessing the design and operating effectiveness of the control structure and compliance with policies and standards.
  • Document test results and provide support for an informed, objective opinion of the risk exposure.
  • Draft testing observations and provide recommendations to management both verbally and in writing.
  • Review management action plan to assess effectiveness of proposed remediation and appropriateness of the timeline.
  • Identify emerging technology risks and lead the dialog among stakeholders to ensure that these risks are considered for entry into the IT risk register.

Qualification

Required

  • 1+ years of experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Management, Information Security or Cyber Security required
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and security
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong detail orientation with ability to research, compile, and report on data
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities
  • Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities, and follow through on all open items/tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Archer, and Reporting tools

Preferred

  • Experience in the banking industry
  • Knowledge and experience in performing assessments aligned with the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) guidance and information security-related standards such as COBIT, ISO2700x, and PCI-DSS
  • Industry designation preferred (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC)
