Ally Financial Inc. is a leading digital financial services company focused on employee growth and well-being. They are seeking a Risk Analyst II to perform testing of IT/IS controls, ensuring their effectiveness in mitigating risks and providing recommendations to management.
Perform Independent Risk Management testing for key IT/IS controls which includes accessing the design and operating effectiveness of the control structure and compliance with policies and standards.
Document test results and provide support for an informed, objective opinion of the risk exposure.
Draft testing observations and provide recommendations to management both verbally and in writing.
Review management action plan to assess effectiveness of proposed remediation and appropriateness of the timeline.
Identify emerging technology risks and lead the dialog among stakeholders to ensure that these risks are considered for entry into the IT risk register.
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Management, Information Security or Cyber Security required
Knowledge of IT infrastructure and security
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong detail orientation with ability to research, compile, and report on data
Ability to work effectively as a member of a cross-functional team
Good organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities
Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities, and follow through on all open items/tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Archer, and Reporting tools
Preferred
Experience in the banking industry
Knowledge and experience in performing assessments aligned with the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) guidance and information security-related standards such as COBIT, ISO2700x, and PCI-DSS
Industry designation preferred (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC)
