Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 2 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
  • 4 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
  • Have relevant retail or B2B experience
  • A strategic mindset and a systems thinking approach
  • The ability to see problems from various angles and create well-rounded solutions.
  • Experience with various design tools and prototyping expertise
  • Embrace the startup mindset by thinking quickly and creatively.
  • A strong understanding of Design Thinking principles and practices.
  • A self-starter mindset who is well organized and always looking to improve things.

Preferred

  • Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or similar and 2+ years of experience in product design.
  • Have a fantastic portfolio of elegant design solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate)
  • Driving product development in a user experience area
  • Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area
  • Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare)
  • UI/UX, Interactive and Visual Design, Electronics Art, Multimedia Design, or related area
  • We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
