They are seeking a full-time Early Career Software Quality Engineer to assist in identifying root causes, evaluating process performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements in software engineering.
Assist in the identification of root causes and associated corrective actions
Evaluate process/product performance
Interface with software engineering to ensure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements
Support to System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in majoring in one of the following disciplines; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline
Understanding or experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies.
Understanding or experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps)
Familiarity Quality Management Systems and Standards
Must be a US Citizen; ability to obtain a secret clearance, after hire. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Preferred
Familiarity or experience with information systems technology
Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans
Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office
