As a Graphics Software Developer, you will transform the future of naval simulation and training by developing critical training systems and real-time graphics systems that directly impact naval operations.
Develop critical training systems like the CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer.
Craft real-time, three-dimensional graphics systems including a submarine periscope simulation, a submarine bridge simulation, and a ship weapons simulation.
Utilize the Unreal graphics engine and various software packages to develop software in a Linux environment.
Qualification
Required
B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance (Interim Secret clearance required upon employment).
Minimum 2 years of developing graphics applications, primarily in C++ utilizing the Unreal graphics engine.
Strong Linux proficiency and some experience with game programming, 3D graphics development, or other visual simulation systems.
Preferred
Advanced degree, ongoing education in computer science, or an advanced math/physics background.
Familiarity with high performance computing, graphics hardware and GPU internals experience, or developing for Virtual Reality headsets.
Experience with OpenSceneGraph, 3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop, or similar modeling tools.
