SS&C is a global provider of investment and financial software-enabled services and software, focusing on the financial services and healthcare industries. The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will manage supplier contracts, monitor purchase requisitions, and serve as a liaison for procurement needs within the company.
Work with teams to negotiate new contracts and contract amendments.
Manage a list of contract expirations to assure that business goals are met.
Guide contract documents through an email based approval/signature process.
Maintain updated documentation in the Company’s contract repository.
Monitor business purchase requisitions as they progress through approvals and, upon final approval, convert to a supplier purchase order.
May be responsible for specific supplier relationships.
Serve as liaison between Procurement and a variety of business units related to procurement activity. Meet with these internal customer to understand future purchasing plans.
Conduct queries of the Company’s procurement database to provide business guidance. Familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft Financial application is valued.
Facilitate annual and semi-annual surveys of business partners related to supplier performance. Consolidate these results and report.
Promote department initiatives.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree and previous work-related experience.
