Design, implement, test, and release new features and functionality.
Lead and participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
Review code changes from peers and other developers to ensure best practices (e.g., correctness, style guidelines, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in C++.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
Preferred
Experience building or operating large-scale database systems.
Experience building infrastructure in Google Cloud or other Cloud providers.
Experience with Java and Python.
Experience with high-performance scalable storage and distributed systems backends and excellent understanding of enterprise workloads.
Familiarity with Apache Iceberg.
