DISH Network provides television entertainment and technology to customers with its satellite DISH TV and streaming SLING TV services. The Reporting Analyst will build, improve, and maintain meaningful reporting for key stakeholders, analyzing data to develop dashboards and reporting summaries that provide actionable insights.
Work cross-departmentally to identify and improve reporting needs
Create meaningful and insightful dashboards for upper management, sales, and other stakeholders.
Improve and automate current recurring and ad-hoc reports where necessary
Manage competing deadlines to process and disseminate diverse types of reoccurring and ad-hoc reports
Use a variety of reporting tools and systems to process requests, including SQL, Tableau, SalesForce, Oracle, G-Suite, Orbit, and Microsoft Office
Analyze results from queries and scripts, prepare reports, analyze the results and provide suggestions to the causes of trends and outliers
Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data and insights
Coordinate QA efforts in the department. Identify errors on accounts and in data and work with department team members to implement corrective measures
Be able to quickly and effectively analyze data, identifying trends and summarizing key details to highlight immediate business impacts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
Two or more years of relevant work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office tools, G-Suite, Excel, Tableau, and SQL
Ability to interact cross-functionally with various levels of employees and with management
Well-developed analytical skills, including the ability to handle competing requests from customers, partners, and internal colleagues
