The Communications Intelligence team is responsible for providing real-time insights and metrics to drive business decisions and enhance performance across various media platforms.
Implement automation workflows using technical tools and artificial intelligence to streamline business processes and enhance productivity
Leverage statistical and machine learning models to answer business questions to be delivered to senior executives and the Global Communications team
Optimize analytics approach for transition to new media analytics platform leveraging enhanced Boolean, dashboard development and integration of new platform capabilities
Provide metrics for executive social platforms in the Americas, EMEA and APJC
Provide metrics and insights for key events, including trending social influencer posts
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all metrics and analysis, collaborating with platform vendors on optimization of tagging, media lists in 25+ countries, and overall data integrity
Learn key new analytics tools needed to support Comms organizations (Sprinklr, Cision, Brandwatch, etc.)
Create automated data processes across multiple digital platforms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Data Analytics/Science, or a related field.
2 – 5 years experience working in a data science or data analytics role
Experience in data mining and analysis
Experience working in a data science or data analytics role within a Communications setting
Knowledge of version control tools used in software development, such as GitHub
Experience in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript, with a background in leveraging open-source Python packages for data analysis
Experience in developing predictive models and machine learning algorithms (linear/logistic regression, random forest, gradient boosting, natural language processing, etc.)
Preferred
Experience in the technology field, especially related to AI, Networking and Cybersecurity
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to quickly learn new analytics tools, especially social and traditional media analytics.
Experience with Boolean search logic and keyword optimization.
Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills; able to change gears quickly to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
