Analyst, Global Communications Intelligence

Responsibilities

  • Implement automation workflows using technical tools and artificial intelligence to streamline business processes and enhance productivity
  • Leverage statistical and machine learning models to answer business questions to be delivered to senior executives and the Global Communications team
  • Optimize analytics approach for transition to new media analytics platform leveraging enhanced Boolean, dashboard development and integration of new platform capabilities
  • Provide metrics for executive social platforms in the Americas, EMEA and APJC
  • Provide metrics and insights for key events, including trending social influencer posts
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all metrics and analysis, collaborating with platform vendors on optimization of tagging, media lists in 25+ countries, and overall data integrity
  • Learn key new analytics tools needed to support Comms organizations (Sprinklr, Cision, Brandwatch, etc.)
  • Create automated data processes across multiple digital platforms

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Data Analytics/Science, or a related field.
  • 2 – 5 years experience working in a data science or data analytics role
  • Experience in data mining and analysis
  • Experience working in a data science or data analytics role within a Communications setting
  • Knowledge of version control tools used in software development, such as GitHub
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript, with a background in leveraging open-source Python packages for data analysis
  • Experience in developing predictive models and machine learning algorithms (linear/logistic regression, random forest, gradient boosting, natural language processing, etc.)

Preferred

  • Experience in the technology field, especially related to AI, Networking and Cybersecurity
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly learn new analytics tools, especially social and traditional media analytics.
  • Experience with Boolean search logic and keyword optimization.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills; able to change gears quickly to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
